Dr. Fadoua Karouach is a scientist in bioprocesses and environmental biotechnology at ASARI-UM6P, with over ten years of expertise in bioenergy production and biomass valorization. She has authored professional papers, book chapters, and participated in national and international R&D projects. Her work includes biomass management and valorization, evaluation of bioenergy potential, bioprocess optimization, laboratory experimentation, and the design and implementation of biodigesters. She holds a Ph.D. in Physics and Applications – Science and Environment Technologies from Ibn Tofail University, in collaboration with the University of Cordoba. She completed three postdoctoral fellowships on converting organic waste and biomass into sustainable bioenergy and value-added products. Since 2010, she has been an active member of the Moroccan Association of Solid Waste (AMADES-Morocco). Outside the lab, she is passionate about hiking and trekking, having explored nearly all of Morocco's mountain summits.
