BIO
Dr. Bouchra El Amiri is a graduate of the Hassan II Institute of Agronomy and Veterinary Medicine in Rabat, where she earned a State Engineering degree in Animal Production. She also holds a postgraduate diploma (DEA) and a Ph.D. in Veterinary Sciences, specializing in Animal Health and Production, from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Liège, Belgium.
She currently holds the position of Research Director at the Regional Center of Settat. She serves as the National Coordinator of INRA’s Medium-Term Research Program (MTRP) on red meat. Since 2021, she has been an affiliated professor at UM6P-ASARI in Laâyoune.
Dr. El Amiri leads several projects within the Animal Reproduction Laboratory. Throughout her career, her research has focused on the development of various assisted reproduction methods and techniques-such as artificial insemination, semen preservation, and estrus synchronization-to improve and conserve animal genetic resources.
She has also contributed to and coordinated multiple development projects.
